I honestly hate shopping in-store for crazy sales, so I placed a huge order online and chose in-store pickup. All of the items said they were available at my Nordstrom. I never got a confirmation email (apparently those were delayed for all orders) and then when I went and checked in store they said, “All of your items are actually coming from another store and won’t be here until tomorrow.” Ew. So then I get an email two days later that says all of the items from my order were cancelled because they were unable to be fulfilled. Gah!
So, yesterday I went in store on a recon mission to try and salvage some pieces in case they actually did have them in stock. Some of the pieces I found, some of them really were sold out, and some I settled for in a different size. Below are some of the pieces that were in my order that I was still able to get!!
(Moral of the story – if you don’t have early early access, shop online right when the sale starts and do NOT do in-store pickup. You can always return, so it’s better to get things before they sell out!)
