As hard/crazy as life can be, I have had a few pin

As hard/crazy as life can be, I have had a few pinch-me moments that I can’t let go…I have two beautiful little souls next to me in life and in the last few days… I got to watch them DANCE IN THE NUTCRACKER, what?! We sang in the car at the top our lungs to the Wicked soundtrack. We shared my favorite harvest bowl from Sweet Green (they think the kid’s meal is dumb) and raved about some soup dumplings we all loved. We read Harry Potter (we’re halfway through the first one!) at night and they are SO into it, they can’t WAIT for bedtime so we can read again. Romy’s made herself our “Christmas DJ” and turns old Christmas music on the record player whenever we are home, volume UP. Piper cracks jokes whenever she can tell one of us needs a laugh, witty ones about things I didn’t even know she could understand yet. They are old enough to really feel like my BEST friends, but young enough that they fully feel the magic of Christmas. How did my tiny babies turn into the coolest little girls? Ugh, I love them and I’m SO PROUD of them!
Also…I’ll never get over how LUCKY we are to have friends that CHOOSE us and show up for us, again and again, in the most beautiful ways.

Don’t miss my Ultimate Guide to Christmas Pajamas, up on my blog (yes, my blog is BACK!) now! Growing up, every Christmas Eve we would open Christmas pajamas from my Mom and Dad. To this day, she still gives us “pajamas” on Christmas Eve (I put it in quotes cause now sometimes it’s sweats, loungewear, whatever we want that year!) and I’ve carried on the tradition with the girls. Usually, they end up with two pair of Christmas pajamas – one to wear through the holiday season and one to open Christmas Eve.

In my guide, I included brands that have been tried and true for us over the years, and there’s something for every vibe/style you might be going for - traditional, neutral, fun prints, fitted, stretchy, flannel, etc. Most of these sell out every year, and most are on sale right now so get it done and checked “get Christmas pajamas” off your “to-do” list…because really there’s nothing better this time of year, right?!
