One of my best friends came in to town this weekend – if you follow me on Instagram you’ve seen a lot of her. Tanya and I took an epic trip to St. Tropez together last year, and have another trip coming up this June. I’ll tell you where soon!! The girls were with their dad this past weekend, so I had some rare uninterrupted time with her and our other childhood friend – Juliette. We updated each other on life, we laughed, we cried…and we told each other what to buy. It’s a service we all offer to our best friends – sharing the products we really love, right? A great thing about Tanya is that she GETS THINGS DONE. Honestly, it’s something I really admire about her. So between the time she arrived here on Friday and her flight out on Monday, she had added to cart and competed purchases on everything below:

My Jacket | My Jeans | My Strapless “Going Out” Top (I have it in brown, black, and white!) | My Boots
This long barrel curling iron. I already told you both Juliette and Tanya bought it! Juliette was like me and had been using a broken old hot tools curling iron (with a glove so she didn’t burn herself, we were dying watching her get ready 😂) and Tanya has a “nicer” expensive one at home and still liked this one better. I’m telling you, it’s good!

This denim jacket. Tanya borrowed it to wear to the Padres game, and it was so cute on here! Juliette and I both already own it – she in blue denim and me in black. It comes in so many colors in denim, a few cute prints, and now some really good colors in suede. It’s such an oversized, comfy, good fit. I have a medium (which is what Tan is wearing here, but she’s teeny so she could do a small!) We loved that it gives similar vibes as this Prada option for waaaay less money. I was stoked I got to borrow this designer men’s leather jacket from Tanya…seems like a pretty fair trade to me ;).

These cute leopard calf hair sneakers. Tanya wore them for the game as well and had purchased them by the end of the day – they’re so cute and comfy! I am SO happy they’re back, and actually I like this version even more than mine, with the cute blue detail and dark brown on the front! I was telling Tan I love that that they have black, brown, and white in them so you really feel like you can wear them with anything. I get so many compliments on them!
This serum. I’ve talked about it before and I think I’ll rave about it until the day I die. There’s just nothing else like it for me – nothing that makes my skin feel as good overall. It’s PRICEY so I hate admitting that, but if I had to pick ONE thing to do for my skin or tell a friend to do for theirs’, this would be it. I ran out recently and convinced myself to use some other serums I had received for free in PR packages – nice, expensive ones that other people say they love. NOTHING even came close. My skin was a mess and after a month I finally had to order the Vivier one again. Almost instantly my skin was night/day BETTER. Helps with fine lines, elasticity, plumpness, discoloration…just makes my skin feel/look younger overall I can’t explain it! I wish I could afford to put it all over my entire body, ha! Vivier, sponsor me please? You just put it on clean skin right after you wash your face and before your moisturizer. Tanya ordered it and I can’t wait to see what she thinks, I’ll share with you!
She was asking what I think has helped my hair grow so long. I told her it’s hard to say exactly, but things I think have for sure contributed are my amazing hair girl, Bianca, and this shampoo and conditioner that she swears by. Also blow drying my hair less (I know it’s so hard and if you have curlier hair than me you probably want to hit me in the face right now!) But my cut guy, Jesse, convinced me that the less I blow dry my hair the more I’ll like it natural, and he was right. Lately I’ve been trying to wash it at night and just blow dry the front pieces, then let the rest dry naturally as much as I can. Other things that help? Being consistent with my Better Days greens (I mostly do the non-caffeinated greens – use code HAWKINS) and Armra (I get the immune revival), as well as other vitamins and supplements. I’ll do a whole post on that stuff another time…

These collagen masks. I actually wanted Tanya to try them with me while she was here but we kept forgetting, so I finally did it without her and LOVED how my skin felt after. Like you guys, so smooth and no pores. So I sent her a pack to arrive the day she got home.

And in a cute series of events, she sent me this bag. I kept not bringing a bag out with us because I just never invest in bags and have none that I love. It came yesterday and it’s such good quality for the price and a great size. She says half moon bags are all the rage – I believe her. Will be such a good basic, staple to have! We also loved this one, I might order!
We also pulled cards on the new moon from this deck that I love, slept in these sheets (I’ve talked about them before, the quality for the price is soooo good), drank from these glasses Juliette and I both own – they even had them at the cute fancy French restaurant we ate at, ate this chicken salad for lunch at my house (she even ordered the ingredients to arrive the day she got home for lunches this week!), and wore the same pair of sneakers on our daily walks that we’ve had for a year now – because we are both obsessed with how comfy they are (I call them my Disneyland shoes).
There you go – it’s like you were there with us! It’s the stuff I want my BEST friends to have. Let me know if you try anything above and what you think.
xx
