This morning my good friend Tiffany and I started out our day with a session at The Drybar in Newport Beach.  If you haven’t heard of Drybar before, it’s a pretty amazing little place where they specialize in blowouts.  No cutting or coloring, just a great shampoo and style for $40.  For me, it’s kind of like a dream come true, considering blow drying my hair is one of my least favorite things to do like, ever.  I also love the design and aesthetic of Drybar – it’s clean and cute.  The product line and tools are available to buy and they’re awesome, but that’s a post for another day.

Today, we walked in a got a big cup of coffee right off the bat.  We each picked out hair styles from their menu.  I think we both ended up picking some version of the Mai Tai.  Then we had our hair washed, dried, and styled…all while sipping our coffee, chatting, and watching Overboard in the background.  Does it get much better? 😉   Tiffany happens to be really great with a camera and have the best one of the best heads of hair I’ve ever seen – here are a few shots from our morning.  I’m really sad I don’t have one of Tiffany’s hair so you can see it in all it’s glory…maybe next time I’ll steal her camera to get one.

The Drybar is great for some “me time” or a date with a girlfriend.  A Drybar Coaster (giftcard) would make a great Mother’s Day gift.  Check here for their locations to find one close to you.
