We are headed back (on what’s now become our annual trip!) to Seattle for the 4th! I’m SO excited. My parents live on a little lake outside of Seattle, with the BEST fireworks show. We BBQ and hang at the house and on the lake all day, participate in some fun games/contests on the lake, and then when it gets dark we head out on the boat to the middle of the lake and post up for the fireworks show. It was so much fun watching them with Romy and Piper last year, I can’t wait to see what they thing of it this year!
We also have plans to meet up with some of my old high school friends, and both Blake and I LOVE spending time with them! There’s literally nothing like that feeling of being HOME with the people who know you best.
