The past few years, Blake and I have spent Easter on our own. I hate spending holidays away from family, so you can imagine how excited I was this year when I realized that not only was it our first Easter with Romy and Piper, but my sister and her family would be in town for it! And an added bonus – it also happened to fall on my sister’s birthday! She’s an April Fools’ Day baby :).
With so much to celebrate, I hunted around for something special for us to do. I knew we’d be flying in from our trip to Humboldt really late the night before Easter, so I wanted to find somewhere to go as opposed to trying to host something at our house. I was so excited to find that the Montage in Laguna Beach does a brunch, but I had no idea how “all-out” they go!
The Montage Laguna Beach has a few options for Easter Brunch, and we decided to go with the buffet offered in the ballroom. I can honestly say this was the best brunch buffet I’ve seen. The presentation was unreal, but the actual food was SO good, too! Stuff dreams are made of. My little nephew Jaxon sat down next to me at the table after getting his first plate of food and said, “Ok, HASHTAG BEST BRUNCH EVER!” 😉
There was so much for the kids to do, which made it even more fun for the adults :). An egg hunt, a petting zoo, balloon animals, and the Easter Bunny! After we were finished with the festivities, we walked down the pathway from the resort to the beach. This is still one of our very favorite beaches around here – we used to call it our Sunday beach, so it seemed like the perfect way to close out the day <3.
(How cute is my sister’s family?!)
I hope you all had a beautiful Easter!!!
