Guys, I’m learning all kinds of new words, acronyms, and terms since I’ve become pregnant, but I have to say that one of my favorites (and probably the fanciest) is concept of a “layette”. I found out what it meant when I was trying to figure out WHAT exactly I needed clothes-wise for the babies in the beginning, and I stumbled upon the brand Monica + Andy. I just wanted somebody to put together a little kit for me with exactly what I need, and apparently Monica + Andy do that with yes, you guessed it, their “layette”, in the most adorable/soft prints.
Um, What is a Layette?
Ok so, if you’re like me and still don’t know what a layette is, it’s basically a set of clothing and accessories for a newborn (aka exactly what I needed)! Monica + Andy offers different layette boxes in different sizes, or you can customize your own. The fabrics are organic and super soft, and the prints are SO CUTE.
I mixed and matched, and here’s what I ended up with:
