I’d heard briefly about Our Spare Change from our friends at Rylee + Cru, but I had never seen any of it in person. I fell in love with the custom ornaments and the charms. They would both make the best gift – the custom ornament is a brass disc engraved with whatever you want, so like “Our First Christmas 2024” or even just a child’s name and the year would be so sweet. I get the girls and ornament every year, so this will be this year’s! I also loved their idea of using them on a gift as a tag. Would also make a great hostess gift on a wreath if there is someone special hosting you for the holidays!

The charms can go on a bracelet or a necklace, and it’s so special how you can pick charms personal to someone. I want to get a necklace for the girls for Christmas and then add charms as special gifts throughout the year.

After this shoot, Our Spare Change officially has a special place in my heart. I’m fairly selective about what shoots I’ll bring the girls on, and these women blew me away with their warmth, creativity, efficiency, awareness, I could go on. I was also so impressed by their photographer, Val. She was so good with the girls and able to get such good shots in such fleeting moments. I hope we can work with all of them again and again!
