Oh the DRAMA of the morning of school pictures…no matter how I try to prepare for it, it’s inevitable. I let them pick/approve outfits. Tried them on the night before. Had backup options. We all felt great about it. Then the morning came…😂 Romy ended up changing on the way to school into something stupid, but how cute are these tops and skirts they were meant to wear?! Linking these and some more western themed favs I just got them in stories!! (FYI, she’s back to loving this top. She just got nervous people at school would think it was weird. She also told me NO OTHER PARENTS PICK WHAT THEIR KIDS WEAR and NO ONE ELSE WEARS A BUTTON UP FOR PICTURE DAY! Ok Romy, ok…) Any other moms relate to the battle of school/family photos?!? I wanna hear your stories! Also…How do we rebrand this?!

Update – here are the school photos, and they’re perfect. The expressions/smiles on the girls’ faces tell me they were trying SO hard, and I know it was FOR ME. I love them so much, and I love the shirt Romy ended up wearing because I know SHE felt better in it. From here on out, should we all just agree that school pictures are when they get to be THEM? I think we will all love them so much more looking back in years to come.
