Park City Style

Blake and I were just in Utah this past weekend for some work and some fun.  The Sundance Film Festival happened to be going on, so we saw lots of fun winter style while we were in Park City.  In honor of Sundance, I decided to post one of my favorite down jackets I have ever put on.  Seriously, this jacket is no joke – SO WARM and SO CUTE! Black on Black…on Blake

I love this flowy Free People mock neck tunic, so comfy and simple.  Last weekend I wore it with my black destroyed J. Brands.  Black on black…with my little gold necklace that says “Blake!”  Recently, I’ve been in love with it.  I’ve gotten so many compliments on it, and I kind of love when people I don’t know see it and ask, “Is your name Blake?”  I’m a weirdo, I know. This is a good day…

Boyfriend Sweater (Literally)

One of the best parts about being married is using Blake’s clothes to double my wardrobe options!  Now if only he weren’t SO tall…;).  Here are a few shots from some fun in the studio the other day with Foxes and Wolves.  And by the way – the sweater is on sale for only $12, so I’m actually tempted to just get my own!  Blake would probably appreciate that. Sweater – on sale for $12! xo Jen

Sweater Sunday at the Beach

This past weekend was such a good one for Blake and I.  We spent the whole weekend at the beach, ate good food, caught up on some sleep (at least I did, Blake was getting up early to try and catch some waves!), and witnessed some amazing sunsets. Friday night we finally tried Pizzeria Mozza in Newport, I’d been wanting to go forever.  My conclusion: it’s just ok.  The food is good, but in my opinion…

Vix Swimwear | Ruby Mint

I can’t get over this one piece by Vix.  I’m not the only one – I brought it along to a shoot, and at the end the amazing crew of women from Ruby Mint couldn’t resist throwing it in for a shot in the dark (like literally, it got dark while we were shooting it ;).  It just cuts in all the right places… Suit ~ Towel **Photos by the amazing Hailley Howard, towel designed by Erin O’Neil for Ruby Mint,…

Tennies and Fish Tacos

Lately I’m obsessed with comfy shoes, chips and guac, Homeland, and Blake.  I’m going through a phase where all I want to do is eat chips and guac on my couch and watch TV with him.  I think my body needs a winter season to rest up, so it’s hibernating in its own way – even if the rest of Southern California still feels like summer!  Over the holidays, Blake’s cousin told us he thought we’d…

Film with Braedon Flynn

Recently photographer Braedon Flynn and I had a short work day, so we decided to finish it off shooting film in an amazing spot he found.  Erica Beukelman did my hair and makeup, I loved the faux-hawk look she created. Sweater (on sale, $75 from $100) ~ Skirt (one sale, $68 from $90) ~ Boots

Our Christmas Vacation

Blake and I have had an amazing time in Utah with our families this Christmas!  Lots of good food, family traditions, and winter weather.  I really don’t want it to end!  We’ve been back and forth between staying at my sister’s house and Blake’s parents, which has been so nice to be able to spend time with everyone. We have a family tradition of “door ditching” Christmas on Christmas Eve to a family in need,…

Weekend in Beaver Creek: FIS Alpine World Cup

Hi!  This weekend, Blake and I took off to Beaver Creek in Colorado to watch his brother Steven race in the FIS Alpine World Cup.  I wasn’t familiar with the world of ski racing until I met the Nymans, and I’ve loved being a part of the excitement!  The energy and vibe around it all is so great – being at a race is so much fun.  And since this race (called Birds of Prey) is the…

Cold Weather Travel Outfit

I feel like I am forever traveling, and lately it’s to places much colder than Southern California!  I always struggle with what to pack and wear on travel days, but these past couple trips I’ve found a go-to travel day outfit that hasn’t yet done me wrong.  And here’s the key – layering!  It’s hard to prepare for cold weather when I’m leaving my apartment in 80 degrees, but when I step off that plane at…
