Our girls LOVE their books, and happen to have very STRONG opinions on which are their favorites. Every nap time and bed time (and sometimes throughout the day) we go through a pile of books before we settle on what to read. The good news is that 90% of the time, the girls agree! It’s so cute/hilarious. Here are the books that currently make the cut (and generate lots of engagement) from Romy and Piper!
**TWIN TIP** One trick that we’ve used for story time (at bed time or nap time) is that we put them in their cribs before we read. Then we stand up in front of them and hold up the book (pre-school style). This makes things much more manageable if you have twins, but can also really help with a single baby if you want to get through a book without them turning/tearing pages. It helps them be more engaged in the story and keeps my girls from fighting over who gets to hold the book or turn the page! Of course they also get plenty of story time throughout the day where they can sit on my lap and hold the book, don’t worry ;).
