I know the holiday season is crazy busy for all of us – with so much more to do, lots going on closing out the year for work and prepping to take time off, and our calendars packed with events. I’m trying to streamline things as much as possible, and part of that means having as much as possible delivered. You know I love delivery services in general, but lately I’m obsessed with my Walmart+ membership for a few reasons:

The biggest is that you get the same low prices that you get in stores with unlimited free delivery ($35 order minimum. Restrictions apply.) With no upcharges or delivery fees, I feel like I can order again and again, if something new pops up or I forget something in my last order. With so much going on right now, it’s seriously easier for my brain to work a couple of days at a time…so I love not feeling like I need to plan to much in advance. I also love that they literally have everything, from fresh/organic grocery items to whatever I need for last minute gifts.

Today, I did a quick order for a last minute cheese board I needed for an event tonight. I also threw in ingredients I need for a dessert I’m supposed to bring to a big Friendsgiving dinner this weekend. So easy! At the last minute, I decided I should look for a hostess gift for my event tonight, and found this beautiful acacia wood board for only $19. I figured I can bring the charcuterie on it, and then leave it as a gift. Guys, I am all about EASY right now!!!

I seriously recommend the Walmart+ membership for this season, it’s simplicity and convenience without having to pay for it. Whether it’s for your weekly groceries, baking or cooking for holiday dinners or events, last minute emergencies (like you’re out of sugar or burned the pie crust!), or last-minute gifts for white elephant exchanges, stocking stuffers, co-workers, etc., having Walmart+ is clutch!

And because I know you’ll ask, here’s the recipe for that easy dessert I’m making this weekend…it’s a simple one but always such a hit! I crave it every holiday!

Pumpkin Pie Cake

 Ingredients

(Topping)

Instructions:

Mix together all ingredients and pour into a greased 9″x12″ baking pan (I like to use these disposable ones if I’m taking to a big event so that I don’t have to worry about bringing it home!) Sprinkle cake mix over pudding mixture.  Drizzle butter on top.  Top with nuts and bake for 1 hour at 325 degrees.I like to put it in the refrigerator and serve chilled, with a big pile of fresh (homemade) whipped cream on the top!

This time of year, I’m all about making things easier and more convenient to be able to soak up more quality time with my family, friends, and mostly Romy and Piper ;). Click here to start your 15-day free trial!
