Air + Style, LA

Yesterday we ventured up to the Rose Bowl in Pasadena with our friend Charlie to watch one of the coolest events I’ve seen in a while.  Shaun White brought Air & Style to LA, and even that normally takes place overseas.  It was a mashup of big air skiing and snowboard competitions and awesome music, along with some good food and vendors.  When we first walked in and saw the big ramp, built on scaffolding…

2015 World Championships | Beaver Creek, CO

I was born into a ski family, so I didn’t really have a choice. For the first seven years, it was me and my two older brothers, then my little brother jumped in the mix. Of course skiing was a part of his life too. All of our lives were somehow intertwined with the sport, culture, industry and/or past time. My oldest brother, Michael was a ski patrolmen. Boyfriend Sweater (Literally)

One of the best parts about being married is using Blake’s clothes to double my wardrobe options!  Now if only he weren’t SO tall…;).  Here are a few shots from some fun in the studio the other day with Foxes and Wolves.  And by the way – the sweater is on sale for only $12, so I’m actually tempted to just get my own!  Blake would probably appreciate that. Sweater – on sale for $12! xo Jen

Vix Swimwear | Ruby Mint

I can’t get over this one piece by Vix.  I’m not the only one – I brought it along to a shoot, and at the end the amazing crew of women from Ruby Mint couldn’t resist throwing it in for a shot in the dark (like literally, it got dark while we were shooting it ;).  It just cuts in all the right places… Suit ~ Towel **Photos by the amazing Hailley Howard, towel designed by Erin O’Neil for Ruby Mint,…

Blake’s 31st

Yesterday was Blake’s 31st birthday!  How great that it fell on a Saturday, right?!  Not to mention a sunny, 75 degree Saturday.  I planned on doing a beach day, so we rounded up a crew of some of Blake’s closest friends down here and headed down to San Onofre – to the area of beach called Old Man’s (which I found really funny and teased Blake about all day! When I asked Blake what he wanted…

Kauai is for Lovers…

…of adventure! 😉  We had such a good time in Kauai this past week, and we decided it really is the ultimate destination for adventurous vacationers!  While it’s so beautiful, laid back, and relaxing, it can also be exciting if you’re looking for an adventure. I actually went for a shoot for Albion Fit, and I’m so grateful for the opportunity to work with them.  I also really love their photographer, Jessica.  Since I was…

Tennies and Fish Tacos

Lately I’m obsessed with comfy shoes, chips and guac, Homeland, and Blake.  I’m going through a phase where all I want to do is eat chips and guac on my couch and watch TV with him.  I think my body needs a winter season to rest up, so it’s hibernating in its own way – even if the rest of Southern California still feels like summer!  Over the holidays, Blake’s cousin told us he thought we’d…
