I’m trying to be better about posting about my favorite products, so here goes some effort in that direction! These are a few things I’ve recently added to my product lineup. I’ve said this before, but I’m a HUGE skeptic and very resistant to change (not a good thing but I’m working on it!!) so it takes a lot of convincing for me to adopt new products. The products below all made the cut, and I promise you will love them, too!
Charlotte Tilbury Supermodel Body – One of my favorite things about working as a model is meeting so many amazing hair and makeup artists and learning about new products from them. I was on a shoot this week in Palm Springs for swimwear, and the makeup artist used this stuff on my legs and arms. She said it’s the stuff Victoria’s Secret models use for shows, and I believe her because it was so amazing! Gives the perfect bronze/shimmer without being overwhelming. I love the little roller it comes with because it’s so easy to apply the right amount exactly where you want it, and as long as you let it dry for a couple of minutes it won’t transfer on to clothing/swimsuits. It’s pricey, but I imagine lasts a long time because you don’t need to use much!
Kate Somerville UncompliKated SPF 50 Soft Focus Makeup Setting Spray – That same makeup artist used this on my face after she was all done with the makeup. I explained to her how worried I was about my face being in the hot Palm Springs sun/burning with the skincare regime I’m on, and I think this stuff really helped! I didn’t feel like I got any color/sun on my face, and it’s such a fine mist that it didn’t affect the makeup negatively at all! I definitely recommend this when you know you’ll be in the sun but want to keep your makeup looking nice – you can reapply throughout the day without gettin’ greasy! (I also love this one from Coola that I posted about on my stories the other day, especially because it’s organic, but it’s a bit heavier and can cause some clogged pores/breakouts for some!)
Kopari Coconut Deodorant – I’m still loving this stuff! I’ve had so many people ask, “But does it really work?” and my answer is yes ;). I put it to the test in Palm Springs on that same shoot and with as hot as it was I didn’t feel stinky at all. I also really loved how I didn’t have to worry about it rubbing off on any of the swim suit samples we were shooting since I was taking them on and off all day – it really is nice and clear!
It’s a 10 Miracle Leave-in Product – My friend/hair guru Carly gifted this stuff to me – we were laughing because the packaging design is nothing special, but the actual product is so so good. Spray a bit in your hair when it’s wet and it’s so easy to brush it out! I normally wouldn’t think I’m someone that needs a detangler, but I love that this makes it feel like I’m not tugging and damaging my hair when it’s wet. That’s when you’re hair is the most vulnerable!
Try them and let me know what you think!!
