We are staying in Midtown on Madison, super close to Madison Square Park and one of the most iconic buildings here – the Flatiron Building.  So of course, we had to stop and take some classic New York photos near it.

The Flatiron Building is the triangle shaped building built in 1902 to fill a wedge-shaped lot between 5th Aveue and Broadway.  Over the years it has become a symbol of New York, loved especially by photographers and artists.  If you’re in New York and you find yourself nearby, snap a photo of it and then head over into Madison Square Park – it’s SO beautiful!  Bonus: there’s a Shake Shack IN the park.  Make sure you eat there ;).
