One morning last week, I got up early, put Lo in the car, and headed down to Oceanside to get some work done with my friend Rusty Spencer. (Lo LOVES to play with his little pug, Finch. They are a match made in heaven!) We met up at my favorite little spot in Oceanside – Captain’s Grounds. I splurged on a dirty chai with almond milk. It was amazing, both because they made it so good and because I hadn’t had one in months ;).
I was telling Rusty how glad I was that he introduced me to this place. and we decided to snap some photos there. There are a few morals to this story – the first is that getting up early may be hard but it’s worth it. We accomplished so much before noon even hit that day. The second is that you have to visit Captain’s Grounds if you’re ever in Oceanside. It also happens to be connected to an amazing vintage shop, Captain’s Helm. And the third is kind of unrelated, but you need these shoes pictures below ;). They are under $100, pretty dang comfortable, and come in SO many cute colors. My favorite is the olive suede I’m wearing here!
Hope you had an amazing weekend! May your Monday start early and with something as delicious as my dirty chai ;).
